Among these players was Twitch streamer Brandon «Atrioc» Ewing, who spent a lengthy seven hours trying to defeat the boss, and that seven hours equaled his entire Elden Ring launch day.
FromSoftware's games are infamous for high difficulty bosses, and its newest action role-playing title, Elden Ring, is no exception as the Tree Sentinel provides a complicated fight. Elden Ring's intense gameplay welcomes all players who come for a challenge, as the game is currently one of the highest-rated ever made.

Streamer Atrioc gave up his entire day to defeat the horse-riding boss. He came across the Tree Sentinel early in the game as it is one of the first Elden Ring bosses to encounter, and he repeatedly failed in his attempts to defeat it. Although Atrioc, like any player, can go off to level up further and return to the fight, he refused to make this move, which may have contributed to this ridiculously long battle. However, he managed to defeat the boss with a hysterical laugh, leaving him falling out of his chair exasperated.
Atrioc could have made the difficult boss fight easier for himself. According to guides, there are multiple ways a player can turn the battle against the Tree Sentinel for their advantage. Seemingly like Atrioc's plan, utilizing dodge is a lifesaver if players prefer a melee fight. However, if players aren't good at using dodge, using the shield is also a great strategy.
