From Software games are notorious for their difficulty, and, while Elden Ring allows for a greater variety of builds, tactics, and approaches, many of the game’s bosses are every bit as difficult as was seen in the Dark Souls games. As it turns out, even cheesing bosses in Elden Ring isn’t as straightforward as one might think. At least, that was the case for one unfortunate Twitch streamer who died in hilarious fashion after felling a late-game field boss.
McQueeb is a Twitch streamer and YouTuber who has a penchant for indie rogue-like games such as Noita andThe Binding of Isaac. Yet, while larger streamers like Shroud and Summit1g have more or less shrugged offElden Ring, McQueeb has embraced the challenge, venturing far into a game that’s purported to take dozens of hours to beat.

In the late game, runes become essential as the cost of leveling up and upgrading weapons continuously balloons. As such, ambitious players may see fit to take on major bosses in the overworld, two of the most recognized being the Tree Sentinel and Flying Dragon Agheel in Limgrave. Of course, Twitch streamer Atrioc infamously spent a total of seven hours combating the Tree Sentinel, thus indicating how difficult these bosses can be to defeat.
However, when taking on Flying Dragon Greyll, McQueeb took a somewhat underhanded approach. Rather than facing him head-on, he appears to have cheesed him by getting the boss stuck on a bridge and launching a barrage of arrows at him from a nearby cliffside. That tactic ultimately paid off; unlike one unlucky Redditor who was killed by a random enemy seconds before defeating one of the Night’s Cavalry bosses, McQueeb managed to finish off his foe.
