Triple H has dealt with numerous health issues over the last several months but apparently returned to the WWE Performance Center on June 22 with a message to deliver. He left his boots in the middle of the ring to open WrestleMania 38 in an emotional send-off, and it wasn't until later that the severity of his heart problems emerged. Those issues were the ones that forced him to officially retire from in-ring action and leave the black and gold NXT behind.
During his time in NXT, Triple H reshaped the direction of WWE's developmental brand and turned it into can't-miss television. While Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown struggled to produce high-quality professional wrestling regularly, the stars from the black and gold era put together some of the highest regarded matches in company history. In his absence, Vince McMahon shifted NXT's focus. Now, instead of luring top talent away from NJPW and IMPACT, WWE seeks out young, high-end athletes and attempts to teach them how to wrestle, mostly from scratch.

"According to multiple sources, Paul Levesque was in Orlando today and spoke at the Performance Center. Of the people I heard from, Levesque stated 'he's back.'" Pollock, who is a reporter for PostWrestlingCafe.com, noted that it's unclear exactly what that means, but it's certainly noteworthy given everything that is going on with Vince McMahon.
