Hayden Panettiere opens up about the return of her character Kirby in Scream 6. Scream 6 was quickly greenlit after the success of 2022's Scream, which was the franchise's fifth installment. The film's success reinvigorated the franchise, which is set to continue with Scream 6 next year. Scream 6 is also set to bring back Courteney Cox, who has appeared in the franchise. Scream 6 also brings back Panettiere's Kirby, a fan-favorite character from Scream 4. While viewers saw Kirby killed in Scream 4, an easter egg in the fifth installment gave a nod that she may have survived her encounter with Ghostface. Now, Kirby is officially alive and set to appear in Scream 6, with Panettiere offering some insight on her return.
