UPDATED 7/14 1:38 p.m. EST: Paramount & Spyglass Media have confirmed both Weaving and Revolori's casting.
After missing out on their first installment in the franchise, Ready or Not star Samara Weaving is reuniting with Radio Silence for Scream 6. Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, better known under their collective name of Radio Silence, are back at the helm for the next chapter of the slasher series with the script again being written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick. The four all made their franchise debuts with this year's Scream, the first not to be directed by Wes Craven following his passing, and saw generally favorable reviews for their retaining of Craven's legacy, bloody thrills and meta commentary.
The cast for Scream 6 will see the returns of both recent and longtime franchise vets Courteney Cox, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Hayden Panettiere. The horror sequel is also set to mark the franchise debuts of Dermot Mulroney and Henry Czerny in currently undisclosed roles. Though Scream 6 won't see the return of the series' iconic heroine Neve Campbell, one recent genre favorite is reportedly making her way to the fold.
