After almost 2 years of Covid-19 pandemic, the world has finally started moving and traveling. However, there are a few things that are mandatory for traveling including the Covid-19 vaccination certificate. If you're not fully vaccinated, you won't be allowed to travel abroad. All countries have implemented their own rules regarding foreigners coming in and having a Covid-19 vaccination certificate linked to the passport is mandatory in all countries. Last month, the Central Government had issued new guidelines according to which linking Covid-19 vaccination certificate with a passport is mandatory for people going abroad for studies, jobs or participating in the Tokyo Olympic Games. The best part about this is you can do it from the comfort of your home. All you have to do is just visit the Cowin portal and get your vaccination certificate linked with passport. Visit the Cowin portal cowin.gov.in and register yourself on the CoWIN website. Fill in the passport details in the photo ID section and get vaccinated (both doses of the vaccinated. If you’re already vaccinated with a different registered photo ID, such as an Aadhaar Card, update your passport details.
On the homepage tap on login and enter the registered login credentials.
Next, tap on the ‘Account Details’ section, and click on ‘Raise Issue’.
Now, select ‘Add Passport Details’ and enter the beneficiary's passport number.
Now, click on the "Submit Request".
