WhatsApp is one of the most widely used online messaging applications. Like every other application, WhatsApp keeps on launching new features and updating itself in order to provide a seamless user experience. WhatsApp is expected to launch several new features in 2023 to enhance the user experience. Here are some of the expected features that can be launched this year:
WhatsApp can bring a dedicated call tab for the desktop version of the app. According to a report by Live Mint, with the help of the feature, WhatsApp users will be able to track and possibly sync the data of WhatsApp calls with mobile and web applications. As of now, this feature is available for some WhatsApp beta for Windows users.
WhatsApp can be used by both- the Android and iOS users. However, sometimes, a feature is made available to Android first and later to iOS and vice-versa. The Picture-in-Picture for video calls is already available for Android users and is expected to release for iOS soon. The PIP feature will allow users to multitask or use other applications while staying on a WhatsApp call.
WhatsApp users must be aware of the view once feature with the help of which they can share media files which can be seen only for one time. Similar to the feature, WhatsApp is now likely to roll out the view once text feature. The feature will delete the text messages once the receipt checks the message. It will let users keep their text
