The Wizarding World continues to be quite popular, and while there are no official plans for a movie adaptation of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, Tom Felton just made it less likely by sharing how he would like to work again with Daniel Radcliffe. Back in 1997, readers were introduced to the Wizarding World in J.K. Rowling’s debut novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the first entry in what would become a successful series of seven books. The Harry Potter saga was adapted to the big screen shortly after, with the final installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, released in 2011, but the Wizarding World hasn’t lost any popularity since then. The Harry Potter universe has continued expanding with in-universe guides and supplementary works, video games, theme parks, and a new movie series based on the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them guidebook. One of the most popular pieces of extended media from the Wizarding World is the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which has been rumored to be on its way to being adapted to the big screen for a while now.
