Legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady is set to produce and star in a new road trip comedy film, 80 for Brady. Earlier this month, the seven-time Super Bowl champion announced that he was retiring from football to spend time with his family and focus on other career pursuits. About a month later, it seems that Brady has already figured out his next move. He will appear in and produce a new movie, 80 for Brady, under the banner of his production company 199 Productions with Kyle Marvin directing and Paramount Pictures distributing.
A recent report from THR suggests that Brady will be sharing the screen with some of Hollywood's most notable veteran actresses for his movie. Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field have all been cast to headline the project. Based on a true story, 80 for Brady will see the stars as four best friends and New England Patriots fans who embark on a road trip to see their beloved superstar play at 2017's Super Bowl LI. As the women seek to attend the biggest sporting event in the country, hilarity and mayhem ensue, leading audiences through a journey of friendship, thrills, and excitement.

With an A-list cast and what sounds like a charming premise, 80 For Brady is bound to create some buzz as production gets underway. It's unclear at this point how big Brady's role in the movie will actually be, but it should be interesting seeing him opposite some of Hollywood's most talented actresses, especially considering Fonda and Tomlin's already well-established chemistry thanks to Grace and Frankie. Production on 80 for Brady is scheduled to start in the spring.
