Lindsay Lohan is continuing her return to screen, now set to appear in two new Netflix films. After making her Hollywood debut in 1998's The Parent Trap as a child actor,Lohan was then catapulted into mainstream media as a teen idol. She landed the lead roles in a number of beloved TV movies and commercially successful hits across the early 2000s, such as Life-Size, Get a Clue, Freaky Friday, and Mean Girls. However, following very public legal troubles and time spent in a rehabilitation clinic following a court order, Lohan left the spotlight and took a long break from acting. In recent years, however, she returned to the screen in films like The Canyons and Among the Shadows, and was announced to be starring in a Netflix movie, Falling for Christmas, back in May. In it, Lohan will play a spoiled hotel heiress suffering from amnesia, and star alongside Chord Overstreet, George Young, and Jack Wagner.
Now, Netflix has revealed via Twitter that Lohan will also star in two more upcoming film projects. The streaming platform shared that her films are the result of a «creative partnership,» teasing that they are now giving audiences "twice the Lindsay."
