Titans star Brenton Thwaites, who plays Dick Grayson, a.k.a. Nightwing, reacts to the idea of doing a crossover with CW's Arrowverse. For nearly a decade, DC TV has had a big presence as Warner Bros. TV has brought multiple iconic heroes and villains to life in several shows. Since 2012, The CW has been a top destination for superhero content through the Arrowverse franchise, largely overseen by executive producer Greg Berlanti. In the last few years, Berlanti has also begun to develop original DC content for HBO Max, which includes the ongoing series Titans and Doom Patrol, while the Green Lantern TV show is his next major project for the streaming service.
Despite not being a traditional Arrowverse spinoff, and aside from Berlanti's involvement with both properties, Titans has only loose ties to The CW's DC franchise. During the Arrowverse crossover Crisis on Infinite Earths, the 5-part event revealed that Titans exists within the franchise's Multiverse, specifically taking place on Earth-9. The Titans universe was one of the worlds wiped out by the Anti-Monitor, before The Spectre rebooted the Multiverse and brought Earth-9 back. While it wasn't a proper crossover, the opportunity certainly exists for Titans and the Arrowverse to cross paths if that is a direction HBO Max, Warner Bros. TV., and The CW would be open to in the future.
