Gearbox Software and 2K Games' fantasy tabletop-inspired RPG Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has proved to be a successful Borderlands spin-off. The 2022 title contains all the telltale Borderlands wackiness, with the series' irreverent humor and over-the-top action very apparent in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands' gameplay. However, the recent release also brings lots of its own ideas and twists of the franchise's formula to the table, giving players a new take on a Borderlands adventure with its TTRPG aesthetics and themes.
It still has the first-person shooter elements, loot-based gameplay, and a crazy cast of characters like its sci-fi predecessors, but Tiny Tina's Wonderlands' focus on fantasy and its Bunkers & Badasses role-playing features provide players with a really enjoyable and fresh take on the popular Borderlands series. In keeping with its themes and setup, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands has a collection of unique classes that gamers can choose from when building their protagonist, and it has recently been announced that a brand-new class is coming with the next DLC.
