The Trickster class is one of eight different master classes in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes that can be used by every unit in the game after specific prerequisites have been met. The master class gives units access to the most powerful abilities for a given class-tree, and will significantly improve the effectiveness of any character on the battlefield. Although the Trickster class does have lower offensive and defensive stats than some of the other master classes, players who can effectively use this build will be able to defeat their enemies with swords, magic, and quick movement.
As the next class up from the Assassin in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes players will have likely already decided that a given unit is best suited to advance to the Trickster class. Upgrading any unit to a master class should be done with intention rather than experimentation in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes because the effort to do so is both time-consuming and costly. Furthermore, players won't be able to upgrade their Assassin to the Trickster class until at least chapter 10, but there are still quite a few things that can be done beforehand to prepare for the upgrade.
