Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance — How to Lock On
Between the Easy, Normal, Hard, and Very Hard, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance scales by having enemies deal more damage and ultimately being more aggressive. In Revengeance Mode, enemies are the same as they were in Very Hard, except now Raiden will do far less damage to them. Bosses will also have more health. A lot of enemies can kill Raiden with one punch, and enemy placement will be completely different from how they were from Easy to Hard.
On the plus side, Revengeance Mode allows damage from perfect parries to do massive damage, enough to often instant kill non-boss enemies. Perfect parrying is essentially the main way to get through a Revengeance playthrough, so players will need to master this technique.
Additionally, keep in mind that Revengeance Mode exists for gamers wanting a challenge or to get all the achievements. Revengeance Mode does not have any in-game rewards. It's all about the glory.
