Throne and Liberty Producer's Letter Discusses Melee, Ranged & Magical Integration
The producer of Throne and Liberty, Jongok Ahn, discusses the update heading to the game on January 31, 2024.
Stat integration is the first topic touched on, as the devs mentioned it during the games last live stream and fans seemingly had a lot of questions and fears that needed to be addressed. The stats will become unified, as the developers want to prevent the weapon combo system from becoming “stuck.”
Some combos, they state, are heavily influenced by the stats on a players gear, so the system is getting overhauled in an attempt to create more variety in combinations. There will be some things excluded from this unification though, such as Equipment Skills and Equipment Set effects.
There are also a few details on Seige, which the developers had covered previously and stated it was simply coming soon. Rather than try to describe the new Seige feature, the devs released a video on it to give fans a better idea of what to expect from the integration.
