The Rev-8 is finally here to revolutionize and players are quickly learning that the buggy does more than simply speed up planetside exploration. Having a set of wheels certainly makes navigating the various barren landscapes much more entertaining but it won't take long for drivers to ponder what else the intergalactic car can do. Fortunately for everyone, the community was quick to test some of the more popular theories and the results are exciting, hilarious, and reminiscent of an open-world classic.
Posting to X (formerly Twitter), user PoweredbyidTech shared a clip of their character calling the Rev-8 into action on New Atlantis, the largest city in that's swimming with NPCs.Quipping that players «can go ,» they demonstrate the buggy's effectiveness at running through crowds, sending people flying everywhere as the city security does its best to stop the rampage before it goes too far. It's certainly a fun discovery and it's good to see that Bethesda is aware enough of its audience to allow such chaos to unfold naturally.

The addition of the Rev-8 in has been a long time coming as fans have requested a land-based vehicle since the game launched just over a year ago. The buggy fixes one of the biggest issues with the game: Exploring barren planets is now significantly more fun, especially on worlds with low gravity. It also speeds up the process given that before Update 1.13.61, users had to trek to every point of interest, making exploration a tedious chore.
