Once native of the far south, these creatures migrated north over decades, adjusting to new climate and temperatures.
They can look like a part of the forest undergrowth, which can be highly deadly when hunting. Arachas usually fight by spitting venom at their prey and then trying to grab them with their prehensile feelers to reach their crushing pincers. Arachas are vulnerable to Golden Oriole and Insectoid oil. Igni can immobilize them, Quen nullifies the damage from one attack, Yrden slows them down, and Axii keeps them pacified; however, Aard isn't going to knock them down because of their size.
