The biggest spoilers for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt showcase just how deep the plot of the game can be. The Witcher 3 is the third in the landmark series from developer CD Projekt RED. The story of the game returns to the life of Geralt of Rivia, a roving witcher in a land filled with monsters of both human and bestial nature. Geralt spends the game searching first for his lover Yennefer of Vengerberg (who is a better character in The Witcher 3 than in the show), then his adoptive daughter Ciri. He races against time to find the latter before the Wild Hunt, a group of powerful eldritch knights who want Ciri for their ends. He is joined in his quest by several allies both new and returning. Allies like the Bloody Baron, ruler of the swampy war-torn wasteland of Velen, and Dandelion, a trouble-making bard and one of Geralt's oldest friends.

The Witcher 3 has several mysteries in-game that could spoil the experience somewhat if the player were to learn of them ahead of time. Shifting character alliances, grand revelations about greater threats, and locations of specific characters all play a key role in driving the plot and mystery of the game. The answers to these questions drive the plot, and it can lose much of its steam if they are revealed early.
