The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories aims to celebrate Sim’s love for each other by adding a more realistic and diverse wedding experience to the game. There are a large number of new wedding outfits, both smart and more casual, as well as a range of items including cakes, bouquets, wedding arches, and furniture. The core feature of the pack is the new gameplay elements that overhaul weddings to add new traditions and activities.

While the assets look fantastic, the weddings themselves now, unfortunately, emulate those IRL ceremonies you have to attend out of duty and spend the entire time wondering when is the earliest you can leave without offending anyone.
My first look at My Wedding Stories was a couple of weeks back when the pack was still considered to be unfinished, despite being only a couple of days from release at the time. At this point, the gameplay element was accidentally chaotic. After spending 14 hours trying to exchange vows without one of my Sims running away, I decided they were trying to tell me something and turned instead to the build and buy items.
As The Sims 4 has progressed, the build and buy items have improved considerably, and the high standard remains the same in this pack. There is a good selection of items and all the staples have a large number of swatches. With regard to items usable on a regular basis, there is a faded pastel wallpaper as well as several door and window options with swatches for ornate and everyday options.
