The Russo Brothers are taking a walk back in time to hype The Gray Man with a hilarious Chris Evans in Avengers: Endgame reference highlighting the major differences of roles for the actor. Evans stars in the upcoming action thriller as Lloyd Hansen, a former CIA agent who now works as an unhinged mercenary. Hansen is tasked with hunting down his former CIA colleague, Ryan Gosling's Court Gentry, when he is made a target after discovering dark agency secrets.
Gosling and Evans are leading the ensemble cast of The Gray Man alongside Knives Out's Ana de Armas, Bridgerton's Regé-Jean Page, Iron Fist's Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfre Woodard, Wagner Moura, Julia Butters, Sam Lerner, Michael Gandolfini and DeObia Oparei. The Russo Brothers are at the helm of the action-thriller, based on Mark Greaney's 2009 novel of the same name, directing on a script from Joe Russo and fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe alums Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus. With a budget of $200 million, The Gray Man is one of Netflix's most expensive original films and those behind it are looking to build anticipation for its release.
