The iPhone 13 Pro Max is widely regarded as one of the best phones you could buy in 2021 and even in 2022. It was, however, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra that outdid the latest iPhone, considered by many as the best phone to buy. Reports now say that Samsung has discontinued the Galaxy S21 Ultra across several markets. The phone is no more in stock with Samsung’s online store and most other retailers are running out of the stocks too.
A report from GSMArena says that the Galaxy S21 Ultra is no more available on sale in France Germany US and UK. Even in India, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is no more available on Samsung’s online store, even though the phone continues to remain listed. If you are sad on missing out on the S21 Ultra in anticipation of a massive drop, don’t be disheartened. The Galaxy S22 series launching on February 9 and this year’s Ultra variant could be an even better deal, if the leaks hold any truth.
Based on the leaks we have been subjected to so far, the Galaxy S22 Ultra could essentially be a successor to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra from 2020. The S Pen stylus could be an integral part of the S22 Ultra, while the phone’s design could be more akin to the Galaxy Note series. Samsung is itself teasing advanced low light photography with several promotions across the world.
A previous leak suggested that Samsung could be mostly relying on its Exynos 2200 chip, which has a new GPU that is based on the AMD RDNA 2 architecture. Leaked website data suggests that the cameras could not be much different from the S21 Ultra. There could be a 108MP main camera, two telephoto cameras, and an ultra-wide camera. Samsung could be upgrading to a 45W fast charging technology this year but may still skip the in-box charger.
