The Office Stars Reveal Season 6 Kevin Line That Broke The Whole Cast
The Office stars Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey have recently revealed the season 6 line from Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner) that broke the whole cast. Originally based on the British series of the same name created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, the American version of The Office premiered in 2005 and received acclaim from both critics and audiences alike. Although the series was scripted, the cast was allowed the freedom to ad-lib, something that frequently caused the actors to break out in laughter during filming.
One memorable scene filled with laughter occurred during season 6, episode 17, «The Delivery, Part 1.» The scene in question involved Pam Beesley (Fischer) as she was dealing with contractions as the birth of her child neared. During the episode, Pam delayed going to the hospital as long as possible, much to the chagrin of Jim Halpert (John Krasinski). Meanwhile, Michael Scott (Steve Carell) and his employees attempted to distract Pam from the pain in various ways throughout the day to no avail.

On a recent episode of the Office Ladies podcast (via Mashable), Fischer and Kinsey revealed a line from Kevin that had the entire cast laughing. In the scene, Michael found a list of actions that will induce labor, so he decides to have a meeting to brainstorm the opposite of those things for Pam to do. According to Fischer and Kinsey, it was Kevin's line in this scene that made them break. When Kevin reads off the list that eating spicy food would cause labor, Michael asks, "What is the opposite of that?"
