Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series is an excellent collection of two classic platforming titles. So, the Klonoa games are delightful, breezy adventures. That is a fact. One thing they are not is particularly difficult or complex. While we commend Namco for providing such thorough guidance, it really does destroy the pace of the early stages. You can figure most of that stuff out without the game needing to grind to a halt every fifteen seconds. So, unless you really want to wade through tutorial boxes, we strongly recommend turning tutorials off in the options menu.
And heck, if you do run into a hurdle, all that juicy info is still available in the pause screen at all times. So if you do hit a bump in the road, you can always consult the well-organized tutorial information there. Also, as an aside, the pixel filter here is one of the best we have seen in a game.
