Before you can start matchmaking in KOF15, you'll have to set up your profile and battle settings. These settings allow you to register a primary character/team, set preferred stages and music, and give yourself a title.
After opening the online menu for the first time, you'll receive a message regarding the tutorial matches you need to fight before receiving a ranking. Then, the game will direct you to the battle settings menu, pictured in the image above.
The battle settings separate into two sections, one for registering teams for Team Vs. battles and one for registering individual characters for Single Vs. battles. Both sections contain the same three items.
