The Courtship: Danny B Calls Experience ‘Nothing Short Of A Fairy Tale’
Despite the fact that Daniel Bochicchio, or Danny B as he was known on The Courtship, broke off his engagement to leading lady Nicole Rémy, his journey on the show was blissful. Danny, a 31-year-old real estate agent from Staten Island, New York, felt an instant connection with Nicole, a 26-year-old software engineer and former professional cheerleader for the Seattle Seahawks from Lakewood, Washington, as he attempted to woo her according to the customs of Regency Era England. There were literal fireworks after their first kiss on their first date.
Although Nicole and Danny had strong feelings for each other, Danny was hesitant about getting engaged so quickly on The Courtship. Therefore, Nicole was shocked when Danny proposed to her, but she happily said yes. However, after the finale aired, they were silent about their relationship, fueling speculation that they had split up. The following week Nicole shared that Danny had broken off their engagement about a week after filming ended, but they decided to stay together. But, a few weeks after that, Danny officially broke up with Nicole for good.

In a post on Instagram that he titled «Sunday gratitude,» Danny shared a series of photographs from The Courtship and a message in which he said, «The whole experience has been nothing short of a fairytale. Filming the show feels like a dream, a dream that I will never forget.» The pictures included Nicole and Danny participating in a traditional 19th-century dance, toasting at a Regency Era style dinner, spending time with Nicole's family, and boating on the lake with the other suitors.
