James Wallington, a recently eliminated competitor on The Challenge: USA and former winner of The Amazing Race, opened up about his alleged betrayal of fellow Amazing Race alum Leo Temory. James, along with Tasha Fox, a former two-time player on Survivor, were eliminated in the third episode of The Challenge: USA after being disqualified from the daily challenge. The competition consisted of teams playing an exaggerated version of Hangman, in which one team member had to hold 10-pound sandbags while the other had to try and figure out the phrase. Tasha was balancing the sandbags, but one of them hit the ground, so she and James were eliminated first from the competition.
The Challenge: USA made its debut on CBS in early July, with 28 of the best reality competition alumni competing against each other for a $500,000 grand prize. Contestants are from shows like Big Brother, Survivor, The Amazing Race and Love Island. In the third episode, former Big Brother standouts Kyland Young, from Big Brother23, and Angela Rummans, from Big Brother 20, won the daily challenge and had to nominate another team to compete in the elimination challenge against James and Tasha. They chose Cashay Proudfoot from Love Island and Domenick Abbate from Survivor.

In an interview with Us Weekly, James was asked about being accused of betraying his Amazing Race ally Leo by mentioning his name as someone for Kyland and Angela to put up in the elimination challenge.
