In any case, we found out today that Gotham Knights might support four person co-op gameplay, somebody is crocheting every single Pokemon, and Ron Gilbert is very disappointed in the response to the art style in the upcoming Return to Monkey Island. The highly anticipated Gotham Knights might be getting a much desired feature in the form of four player co-op gameplay. The news comes from a perspicacious player going by the name of SuspiciousTension19 on Reddit who noted that if you head on over to the game's PlayStation Network page, you'll see that it “supports up to four online players with PS Plus.” In other words, it sounds a lot like the game will be getting a four player co-op mode. We’ll know for sure when Gotham Knights comes out later this year.
Ron Gilbert announced a while back that he would be releasing a brand new Monkey Island game. Fans of the franchise were of course excited, but now that some of them have seen what the game is going to look like, they’ve been up in arms over the matter. "Return to Monkey Island may not be the art style you wanted or were expecting, but it's the art style I wanted," Gilbert remarked. "When I started this game, my biggest fear was that Disney wouldn't let me make the game I wanted to make, but they have been wonderful to work with. It's ironic that the people who don't want me to make the game I want to make are some of the hardcore Monkey Island fans. And that is what makes me sad about all the comments.”
