The Batman may have cast Game of Thrones actor Luke Roberts for the role of Thomas Wayne. Robert Pattinson will debut as Warner Bros.' new iteration of the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves' upcoming movie. Aside from him, the film will also debut his father — Thomas Wayne, but casting for the character has been kept under wraps, until now.
Amidst a series of delays and the threat of a new one,The Batman maintains its March 2022 release date. Given this, more information about the film is trickling out thanks to Warner Bros.' marketing which has mostly focused on establishing Pattinson's new Gotham-based hero and his match-up with The Riddler (Paul Dano). Joining the pair in the cast are Zoë Kravitz's Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, and Andy Serkis as Alfred. There's a recent addition to the ensemble, however, if this new report comes to fruition.
