Sony’s limited edition 30th anniversary PlayStation 5 Pro console sold out within minutes of going on sale in the UK on Thursday.
The classic themed console is limited to just 12,300 units globally, and the UK would have likely have received only a small portion of this number.
At the time of publishing, the limited edition DualSense controller has also sold out on Amazon UK.
Pre-orders for the 30th anniversary PlayStation 5 items, as well as the standard version PlayStation 5 Pro, are due to go live via the PlayStation Direct site in other regions, including the US, later today.
That includes limited edition versions of the PS5 Pro, standard digital PS5, PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge, and standard DualSense controller.
In areas where PlayStation Direct isn’t available, pre-orders will open on September 26 at undisclosed retailers and times.
As part of pre-orders going live, pricing details were also revealed for the main item, the PS5 Pro 30th anniversary bundle: £960 in the UK, €1100 in Europe, and $1200 in Australia. US pricing will be revealed when pre-orders go live there.
The Pro is coloured grey like the original PlayStation and will contain all the extras included with the PS5 Digital Edition, as well as a DualSense Edge controller and a DualSense Charging Station.
The PS5 Digital Edition and DualSense Wireless Controller will be available on both PlayStation Direct and participating retailers.
