President Camacho was one of the best gags in Mike Judge's cult sci-fi comedy Idiocracy, starring Luke Wilson as a man frozen in time only to wake up 500 years later in an era where stupidity has taken over the world. Although Idiocracy is packed with crass jokes, no one in its supporting cast holds quite the same meme status as Crews' character, who’s gotten up to speed with the latest news to run a successful presidential campaign.

Crews shared the clip on his social media accounts, quickly receiving over 230,000 likes across Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. In doing so, Crews proved President Camacho's political capital remains intact despite him staying away from the spotlight for many years. Under the slogan “running for president some mo' in 2024,” Crews paraded the streets of Austin over the weekend shouting some of his opinions on pressing current-day matters like Big Mac prices and Iron Man's MCU death, inviting people to his official campaign launch party this Monday.
President Camacho has not lost touch with voters. Crews even wore the same long-haired wig he had in Idiocracy and some tight clothing accentuating the future Commander in Chief's muscles. Naturally, Camacho's presidential campaign is financed by Brawndo, the dubious energy drink that nearly drove humanity to extinction in Idiocracy before Wilson's Corporal Joe Bauers showed up.
