Reef Entertainment announced on Wednesday that the 2019 first-person shooter would be getting an enhanced version for the Xbox Series X|S.
The move finally gives Xbox fans an enhanced version of the game, after an enhanced version of the game was released in the PlayStation 5 in 2021. Now, the enhanced version of the game, as well as a new story DLC called Annihilation Line and a new game mode, will land on the Xbox Series X|S in two waves later this year (via VGC).
The new story DLC is a “narrative expansion” of the game, which puts players in the shoes of Terminator character Kyle Reese and is set during the middle of the main game’s campaign. The DLC was initially released in December 2021.
On September 27, 2023, players who own the digital version of Terminator: Resistance on Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the enhanced version for free. On October 27, 2023, a “Complete Edition” of the game will be released by Reef Entertainment and will be available to purchase both digitally and physically. The Terminator: Resistance – Complete Edition will include the main game, Infiltrator, and the Annihilation DLC all bundled together.
Terminator: Resistance was originally released in 2019 and is set during the original future war depicted in the films The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
