The Supernatural prequel series The Winchesters casts the younger version of Sam and Dean's parents in the upcoming CW drama. Focused on two brothers taking on mythical threats and monsters, Supernatural became a cult series worldwide as fans continued to tune in season after season. Currently, Supernatural holds the title as The CW's longest-running series, having aired 327 episodes in total.

Dean Winchester himself, Jensen Ackles, is attached as both executive producer and the narrator for the potential drama.
