As the Daily Planet's most ambitious staffer, Jimmy has seen some action thanks, in part, to his best buddy Superman's never-ending mission to protect Metropolis. Always on the lookout for a hot new story, Jimmy has shown a tendency to stick his nose in where it doesn't belong, often getting him into trouble. Even worse, Jimmy Olsen would develop powers that tended to make bad situations worse. Even though his more «extreme» adventures were generally confined to the Silver Age, they've remained a large part of his history. So unfortunately for the ace reporter, Olsen's never been able to live down his excursions as Giant Turtle Man or Elastic Lad. But all those silly misadventures paid off in an amazing way that changed Jimmy Olsen forever.
