The DC Universe‘s Superman and Lois Lane have been found for James Gunn’s upcoming Superman: Legacy.
Deadline notes that playing the DCU version of Clark Kent/Superman will be David Corenswet (Pearl, The Politician). Meanwhile, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star Rachel Brosnahan will play Lois Lane in the upcoming DC Studios movie. This comes after a lengthy casting process that saw Nicholas Hoult and Tom Brittney also test for Superman, and Emma Mackey and Phoebe Dynevor try out for Lane.

Currently, not too much is known about , with fans still anxious to find out who will play the new version of Superman in the DC Universe. While Gunn has shot down various rumors on social media, most things about the DCU movie are unknown.
“Superman: Legacy tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas,” reads the movie’s official synopsis. “He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”
The DC Universe’s first phase, called Chapter One: Gods and Monsters, will feature a multitude of different movies and television shows. A few of the announced projects include Superman: Legacy, a Batman and Robin-focused movie called The Brave and the Bold, a Supergirl movie titled Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, a Swamp Thing film, and multiple TV shows.
