Street Fighter fans are probably buzzing with everything they've seen or heard about Street Fighter 6 so far. The game was first announced in February, with a "massive" teaser featuring Ryu and Luke. Eventually we learned that Chun-Li and Jamie will also be a part of the roster, along with an open-world feature. Most recently, at the Summer Game Fest, we learned that America's hero, Guile will join the fight.
However, fans of the series eagerly awaited a particular piece of information, which has now been seemingly revealed. According to streamer and fighting game aficionado, Maximilian Dood, Street Fighter 6 will reportedly feature cross-play. Dood tweeted the information, saying that it came directly from the developers. It's not hard to believe that the devs could have revealed this to him, given his reputation in the fighting game community.

If you're not familiar with the term, rollback netcode is a type of technology that tries to neutralize latency. To put it in simple terms, your console essentially predicts what actions your opponent will make during online sessions in order to prevent input delay. This is especially useful in fighting games like Street Fighter 6, which require precision timing.
