Affected by her parents’ history and how, after their divorce, she had to move around a lot, Claire is sure about her future. She always focuses on grades as she wants to get into the best schools and become a lawyer, so Claire doesn’t want to risk becoming too attached to someone as it could jeopardize her future. After meeting Aidan, she falls for him and decides to date him, as he proposes a deal where they would break up before going to college after fully enjoying their relationship up to that moment. Things worsen when the time comes for their breakup, as Claire and Aidan become deeply attached.
