Street Fighter 6, Capcom's recently-released entry in the series, has surpassed 1 million players globally, the publisher has announced.
The fighting title launched some days ago, and a few hours after its release, the game already managed to set a new concurrent players record on Steam for fighting games - a record previously held by Dragon Ball Fighter Z. As can be seen in the Steam Database, the all-time peak for Street Fighter 6 peaked this weekend with over 70.000 concurrent players (on Steam).
As now revealed by the official Japanese Street Fighter Twitter account, more than 1 million players have played the most recent installment in the series with the series total exceeding 50 million players to date. To celebrate this joyful news, players can now claim an in-game item.
