The Streamer Awards 2022 has been one of the most hotly anticipated events by every streamer, and their fans as the event is finally happening offline, after a gap of two years due to the pandemic.

Hosted in West Hollywood, LA, the event had all the charm of any major cinema award show with red carpet interviews, live music, and all the bells and whistles that one would expect.
The premier award ceremony before the pandemic for the streaming community used to be the Shorty Awards, which various tech entrepreneurs organized in an effort to award the best creators on social media.
The Streamer Awards is the first award ceremony for streamers that have been organized and hosted by streamers to award fellow streamers.
The Streamer Awards had fans vote for their favorites across more than 25 categories, with four nominees in each category. A detailed list of all the winners across categories is available below:

Shroud and Ludwig bagged the biggest titles, each awarded Gamer of the Year and Streamer of the Year, respectively. While Ludwig was present at the ceremony to receive his award, interestingly, Gamer of the Year winner Shroud was streaming Lost Ark at the time and was not present at the ceremony.
His award was received by his fellow nominee, IitzTimmy, who is also the winner of the Valorant Streamer of the Year award.
