The popular content creators Ludwig and QTCinderella have been clashing with Dr Disrespect over the Streamer Awards. Dr Disrespect referred to the ceremony on Twitter as a “fake awards show,” putting QTCinderella on the defensive about the matter. Ludwig jumped in shortly afterwards to support his partner.
The first ever Streamer Awards were held in Los Angeles, California by QTCinderella and Maya Higa on March 12, 2022. The ceremony was largely organized by QTCinderella. Something like 400,000 people tuned in to watch Ludwig be crowned Streamer of the Year. “You guys would not believe who I had to sleep with to get this,” the streamer joked in reference to his partner, QTCinderella.

While the streamers present were quick to offer their congratulations, viewers began questioning the results, claiming the vote was “rigged” in favor of Ludwig because of his relationship with QTCinderella. She later said that “I wish I could have felt proud of the event instead of overwhelmed with everything that should be better. I know where things went wrong. I promise.” The streamer then left social media for several days.
This wave of criticism from viewers led Dr Disrespect to question how the Streamer Awards were conducted. “Imagine creating a fake awards show to give your best friends credit for something they’re not even close to competing in,” the content creator said on Twitter. This of course invited a response by QTCinderella who noted that Dr Disrespect should “just ask for an invite instead of being a dick.” The streamer went on to say that “I’ll make sure to save a seat for you and you 2+ ones next year.”
