Following a three-year hiatus, the science-fiction fantasy penultimate season has just concluded with record-breaking results. Critical-acclaim and audience praise has made Stranger Things the most watched television series on any streaming service so far this year, overtaking Disney+'s Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Stranger Things season 4 once again focuses on the core group of teenagers from Hawkins, Indiana, as they battle forces from the parallel universe, the Upside Down. When Vecna, a telepathic creature from the Upside Down begins killing people, tormenting his victims with nightmares of their unresolved past trauma, the gang teams up to take down the powerful being. With a three-pronged attack from Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Max (Sadie Sink) distracting Vecna, and the rest of the Hawkins crew going directly after the enemy in Upside Down Creel house, appeared to be a success. However, this mission results in terrible loses for the group, including Max being left in a coma following their battle.
