The cast of Stranger Things will be playing a game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Netflix's Geeked Week, where they are free to roll up whatever character they like. Stranger Things has been closely connected to D&D since the beginning, with the game featuring prominently in the story, and manifestations of D&D villains appearing as foes. This connection has resulted in numerous crossovers between D&D and Stranger Things, including a comic series by Dark Horse Comics, and even a Stranger Things-themed D&D Starter Set. The current season of Stranger Things has deepened this connection, with a villain based on Vecna from D&D's Greyhawk campaign setting.
