The handwritten sign for the console lists the PS5 for sale at $1300, over 2.5 times the console's MSRP value of $499.99. The comments of the post are filled with fellow PlayStation fans outraged by the ridiculous price of the console, with many calling into question the ethics of the shop's owner.
The scalping issue has not been exclusive to local stores either, as many sellers on sites like Wal-Mart and eBay
