A Gotham Knights actor addresses the missing super suits following the release of the trailer for The CW's upcoming DC TV show. While the Arrowverse is winding down, The CW is still pursuing new DC TV shows as they head into the next season. For the network's next DC TV entry, The CW will be launching Gotham Knights in the 2022-2023 TV season from writers/producers of Batwoman. Despite their connection to the now-cancelled Arrowverse drama, Gotham Knights will not serve as a Batwoman spinoff, nor does it have any ties to the upcoming video game of the same name.
The Gotham Knights TV show will follow Bruce Wayne's adoptive son Turner Hayes after Batman gets mysteriously murdered. Following the Dark Knight's murder, Turner gets framed for the crime, alongside several children of some of Batman's villains. While Gotham Knights season 1 will see the kids having to work together to clear their names, it will also see them become the next generation of heroes in Gotham City. Despite not arriving until next year, The CW still released a Gotham Knights pilot trailer back in May.
