Stone Soup - the New Community Created Feast for Patch 9.2
Patch 9.2: Eternity's End brings with it a new Season and a new Raid so it is no surprise that there is also a new feast. What is a surprise is that the new feast switches paradigm to become a community-built project similar to those we became familiar with in Mechagon and Battlefronts in Battle for Azeroth. Here's how it works:
A player with Cooking learns the recipe Recipe: Empty Kettle of Stone Soup. This is purchased from Olea Manu for 25 Cyphers of the First Ones. (Currently, on the PTR, subject to change.) That player can then create Empty Kettle of Stone Soup. Ingredients: 1 Empty Kettle — purchased from Cooking and Trade Supply Vendors for 1 Shaded Stone 5 Refreshing Spring WaterNo cooking fire required. The player can then place down an Empty Kettle of Stone Soup which becomes an object that anyone can interact with — even players not in the same group. The Empty Kettle of Stone Soup has a percent bar indicator over it so everyone can see the progress of the feast. Upon interaction, an interface allows players to contribute ingredients to the feast. Each donation contributes 10% towards the completion of the feast. The donation materials do not have to be in the player's bags, they can be stored in the bank. Players may contribute any of 4 selections:
5 Protoflesh 1 Precursor Placoderm Meat Medley: 1 Aethereal Meat, 1 Creeping Crawler Meat, 1 Phantasmal Haunch, 1 Raw Seraphic Wing, 1 Shadowy Shank, 1 Tenebrous Ribs Fish Medley: 1 Lost Sole, 1 Iridescent Amberjack, 1 Silvergill Pike, 1 Pocked Bonefish, Spinefin Piranha, 1 Elysian ThadeOnce the percent bar is full, the Empty Kettle of Stone Soup becomes a Stone Soup feast that all can partake in for a Well Fed buff.
