Steel Paws is a new mobile game from Yu Suzuki
Netflix has revealed Steel Paws, an upcoming mobile game created by Yu Suzuki.
The new IP from the Shenmue, Virtua Fighter and Out Run creator will be released in 2025 exclusively on Netflix Games.
A reveal trailer for the action adventure title, which premiered at The Game Awards, is viewable below.
“In Steel Paws, embark on an adventure alongside Buddy Robots to conquer a mysterious tower that reappears every century,” said Netflix.
“Master your abilities and upgrade your buddies to uncover new enemies, rewards, and endless ways to play. Steel Paws comes exclusively to Netflix in 2025.”
Following the release of 2019’s long-awaited Shenmue 3, Suzuki’s most recent game was the rail shooter Air Twister. It was initially released as an Apple Arcade exclusive in June 2022, before coming to PC and consoles in November 2023.
A host of titles were revealed at The Game Awards, including a new sci-IP from Naughty Dog, an Okami sequel from a new studio headed by Hideki Kamiya, a third-person Turok game, and a new Virtua Fighter from Like a Dragon studio Ryu Ga Gotoku.
