Steamforged Games has announced its next big IP collaboration and will be bringing the very popular ER to Kickstarter!
Yes, you heard me right. You will run a trauma ward, saving lives while simultaneously trying to collect ridiculous medical bills so you can pay for your malpractice insurance. The game will lean heavily into minis, allowing you to put yourself in the shoes of fan favorites such as Doug Ross, Peter Barton, or Kerry Weaver, diagnosing patients and-

You will WISH you had Doug Ross, Peter Barton, AND Kerry Weaver with you to revive you over and over again as you die MANY times experiencing Steamforged Games’ newest video game-based tabletop experience – ELDEN RING!
While the start date of the Kickstarter campaign will be announced soon, a few details about the game were provided. Elden Ring will support one to four players, but it was not specific on coop vs. competitive. My guess is that it will be both as you can either help or hunt players in the video game. The game will include familiar locations and characters from the game world. Finally, combat will be challenging (just like the game) and…drumroll please…..diceless!
Steamforged continues its tradition of adapting video games to the tabletop world. They began with Dark Souls in 2016, and, since then, have made games based on Resident Evil 2, Horizon Zero Dawn (review here), Resident Evil 3 (Review coming soon!), Devil May Cry, Monster Hunter, and Resident Evil, to name a few.
