A fan of the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion stumbled across a unique discovery when they found a structure that strongly resembles the game's wayshrines. Though it may not offer the same boons as the ones found in Oblivion, it's certainly an interesting find.
The wayshrines in Oblivion dot the landscape all across the map and are devoted to the Imperial pantheon called the Nine Divines, also known as the Eight and One. The Nine Divines can also refer to one of the many factions in Oblivion, this particular group is devoted to worshiping the pantheon. When approached in-game, the shrines provide both healing to the player character and a buff that's distinct depending on which of the nine that particular shrine is devoted to.

Not content just to visit the shrines in the game, one fan has found their way to what looks like a real-world wayshrine, nearly identical to those found across Cyrodiil. Reddit user plaid_dragon_boi caught sight of the structure in a city park and, noting the striking similarity to those populating the huge open world of Oblivion, snapped a picture of it. The formation appears to be made of pale stone. In addition, it has pillars encircling it and what looks like some kind of offering bowel at the center. These are all features shared with the Oblivion wayshrines. It's worth noting that it's only semicircular as opposed to those found in the game, which are fully circular, aside from the crumbling ones.
Many of the comments on the post made mention of how striking the image looked, some thinking at first that they were seeing a screenshot of a heavily modded version of Oblivion's wayshrines. But plaid_dragon_boi explained that they
