Starfield is fast approaching its September release date, and Microsoft is showing it off at length with its own Starfield Direct presentation. First, though, it teased the game with a new story trailer during the Xbox Showcase.
The new trailer includes narration about joining an elite group of explorers called Constellation, with more detailed looks at internal areas and human characters. They spoke about their mission being important for the future of humanity, alongside shots of interacting with space runes and other structures.
Though the trailer was focused mostly on getting you up to speed with the story, it also featured a fresh look at gameplay. The trailer including gunplay against enemies, a few quick shots of space combat and exploration, and roaming around desolate planetscapes.
