It's possible the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ TV show will end with the Jedi Master faking his own death to escape Darth Vader and the Inquisitors. Obi-Wan Kenobi was one of the few Jedi to survive Order 66, but unlike many, he didn't take a stand against the Empire. He knew the Emperor was in reality a Sith Lord, and with the benefit of hindsight, he realized the Jedi had been completely outmaneuvered. Hope lay in another direction.
Padmé Amidala had given birth to two children before her death, and both Yoda and Obi-Wan believed that generation would be the one to drive back the darkness. Leia was left with Bail Organa and his wife Breha on Alderaan, while Obi-Wan took Luke to Tatooine to be brought up by his uncle. He remained on Tatooine watching over the boy, intending to train him when he believed the time was right, confident the fate of the galaxy lay in Luke's young hands.

But the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ TV show reveals the Jedi Master was drawn out of hiding just under a decade after he hid away on Tatooine. One of Darth Vader's Inquisitors, Reva, discovered a historic connection between Obi-Wan and Bail Organa in the archives. She kidnapped Leia, hoping doing so would cause Bail to reach out to Obi-Wan for help. Her plan was a success, and left Obi-Wan in fear for his life.
It's safe to assume Obi-Wan Kenobi will survive; any other outcome would shatter Star Wars continuity, after all.
