Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes place within Star Wars’ universe, and as part of that it is interesting to see the budding franchise develop further. For example, rumors have suggested that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s Cal Kestis, played by Cameron Monaghan, would be receiving a live-action counterpart series in some capacity.
Since then, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor action figures released at SDCC have given fans their best look at Cal with facial hair and a blaster pistol. The Disney and Marvel Games Showcase next month has a good chance of being the next stage Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is presented at, but in the meantime there are considerable clues as to when the game may release based on two new associable books that are releasing in early 2023.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Figure May Reveal New Gameplay Feature and Look for Cal Kestis
Lucasfilm and Star Wars have announced two book titles related to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor that hit shelves in 2023. The first, titled Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars, is an original prequel novel set between the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The second, titled The Art of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, is published by Dark Horse and recounts its development with “concept art and creator commentary.” Interestingly, the prequel novel releases on March 7, while the art book releases on May 2, narrowing down when Star Wars Jedi: Survivor may release.
Because Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars releases in March, it is safe to assume that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases sometime afterward. Then, because The Art of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases in May, it is also safe to assume that the game will release on or around that same date, whether that is at the end of April or
